In 2013 my business partner, Dave, bought a designer bag as a gift for his wife. But, before her next birthday arrived, he complained to me she was disappointed with the quality and felt like the bag was falling apart.

Fed up, he brought that bag to the office, and we tore it apart. We found structural fillers, concealed plastic pieces, low-grade leather materials, and even imitation leather used in sneaky places - where it wouldn't be noticed.

The facade was revealed.

Having spent over a decade in manufacturing and product development, we saw an opportunity to build a better bag company, emphasizing craftsmanship, premium materials, thoughtful design, and honest promises.

Our wives agreed, and in 2015 Minor History was born.

Today, we’re surrounded by a team of talented women whose mission is to bring functional, timeless designs to life. This mission drives Minor History forward season after season. Utilizing the gentlest tanning techniques and removing all plastic fillers from our bags we strive to bring sustainability to the unique styles you’ll use forever (& ever). Honestly.
